Sue Cabread Capper
Sue Cabread Capper trained at Leicester College of Art as a Designer in printed and woven textiles. She worked first in a partnership producing dress and furnishing fabrics and took part in shows in London and Yorkshire. Sue went on to take a Postgraduate Course at Manchester College of Art and taught in schools and adult education in Manchester and Wellingborough. She is a member of the Northamptonshire Town and County Art Society and the Northamptonshire Watercolour Group, and exhibits widely in solo and group shows, including the Society of Women Artists in London and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. She won the Wellingborough Annual Open Art Competition in 1994, and has paintings in public and private collections in this country and abroad.
