Please click the images above to enlarge them. Yvonne is an Associate Member of the Guild of Enamellers. She was an enameller for 23 years before discovering Dichroic glass 2 years ago and is now totally spellbound by it's beauty. Dichroic glass is a high-tech spin-off from the space industry and each piece shows two different colours; one transmitted and one reflected. Yvonne fuses the Dichroic glass on to either clear or coloured art glass. This is then fired in a kiln up to approx. 800 degrees, where it remains until it is completely cold. Each piece is completely unique. |
