After a career in engineering Martin has returned to the jewellery making he took up as a hobby in the late 70's. His inspiration comes from natural forms he has seen during his travels in America, Africa and Europe. He has always been interested in using forging to form shapes and soldering to fabricate his jewellery. Techniques that although common in engineering take on another dimension when working in silver. The finish on his earrings and bracelets give a jewelled effect when they catch the light. |
