I am the mother of two children and when Oscar was born I wanted a small, handy blanket to transfer from car seat to pram to Moses basket - a blanket that was just his. Using fleece for its cosy softness and easy care, I designed a simple star motif to make it unique. Now a busy toddler, Oscar still uses his blanket, and I hope we'll always keep it as a reminder of his baby days. Since then I have made dozens of blankets, all with individual designs. I work from home and enjoy hunting for fabrics, as well as finding buttons, beads and ribbons. I love thinking of new designs and will do commissions. - Lucy Milner |
