Julie Langan graduated in 1997 with a first class honours degree specialising in glass and jewellery design. Later in that same year Julie was awarded the David Canter Memorial Prize for glass which enabled her to establish her own studio and workshop in which she now produces her glassware and jewellery.

The basic principle behind all Julie's work is the fusion and manipulation of metals, enamels and oxides between the layers of glass. The forms produced contain a fluid elegance and the processes employed  during production, ensures that each piece is individual and unique. The range of glassware that Julie produces includes decorative bowls, mirrors, wall panels and signs. The same processes and techniques are used but on a smaller scale to produce Julie's collection of jewellery.
