Jenni Wilson
Welcome to the exciting and humorous jewellery by Jenni Wilson. Taking inspiration that would not usually be associated with jewellery, I design and make original and desirable pieces of work. Currently my three main themes are the everyday activities of washing, cooking and shopping. My intention is to make jewellery which appeals to people looking for something quirky and unique, either for themselves or a gift. Hopefully everyone can find something that bring out the cheekiness from within. Following graduation from the University of Derby in 1998, with a BA (Hons) in Applied Arts, I spent a year developing my work and professional skills on the Taylor-Burgess Design Enterprise Fellowship Scheme (later known as DesignSpace). I am now based in a workshop in the centre of Birmingham's famous jewellery quarter. Since starting my business at the end of 1999 I have taken part in a number of international trade shows, Chelsea Crafts Fair and various exhibitions at galleries around the UK. I regularly supply outlets throughout the country and the work continues to sell well and make people smile, hence my 'wear with smile' washing symbol! |
