My inspiration comes from mainly having worked for several years in a nursery school looking after children between the ages of 4 and 8 years. I spent many hours at the art table and just loved the way the children expressed themselves with anything gooey........and colourful!!! I also live in the Forest of Dean and am surrounded by such beauty and colourful scenery. So that inspires me too. All my jewellery is designed on empty cornflake boxes, which I then cut out and use as templates - it's very easy and simple. The paining can be back breaking but it's enjoyable as the colours come alive. |
