David Green was born in London but now lives in Bedfordshire. Before starting his career as a painter in 1972, he worked in Unilever.

David prefers to work direct from the subject, in situ, seeking to capture atmosphere and light in his paintings. His subject matter is mainly landscape with architectural content.

He is a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers. His work has frequently been exhibited in London with the R.I.R.B.A and the R.O.I. together with many successful one man shows throughout the country.
