Clare graduated from the University of Central England in Birmingham in 1989 with a degree in constructed textiles. A Royal Society of Art's Young Designer in Industry Award winner, Claire gained much of her knitwear knowledge after working within the Knitwear industry for many years - starting her own business in 1994.

Claire draws much of her inspiration from various sources such as food packaging and plastic vacuum forms which give her a vast array of ideas for her 3-D knitted structures. Many of Claire's scarves are knitted in luxury fibres such as cashmere, wool and wool blends. Hand wash, squeeze excess water out whilst wrapped in a towel. Dry flat and reshape whilst damp.
