'Origin' are Chris Brook and Jenny Martin. Two designer/makers, who combine a simple approach to style and form, together with the use of unusual materials and techniques, to produce pieces which have acquired a timeless and textile quality. Jenny's semi abstract landscapes and Chris's naive imagery both draw on inspiration from coastal and rural aspects of living in the Scottish Borders. While influences of ethnic contemporary imagery are also apparent complimented by unique framing techniques. Each piece is created with care and attention to detail and finish.
